1960/1965 Gibson lg-3

condition overall. There are a few things that have been done to the instrument over the years.

The guitar has had a replacement 1965 Gibson neck installed. The reason for the neck swap was that the original neck had been significantly compromised. All is well now — the guitar plays great and the intonation is spot on.

The guitar has also had a replacement maple bridge plate made for it, along with the original bridge being professionally re-glued. It still retains its original frets, which have recently been leveled, re-crowned, and dressed.

It looks like there was a lower back crack repaired at some point in its life, and the repair is solid. The guitar also retains its original 1965 tuners.

As you’ll notice from the photos, the guitar does have plenty of little nicks, chips, dings, dents, and other superficial blemishes throughout, consistent with its age and honest play wear.

The guitar comes with an aftermarket case. Please feel free to ask any other questions you might have.
