1935 Martin 018K

$5,500.00

Here we have a super-cool 1935 Martin 018K. As you will notice, the guitar has been slightly altered. The alterations include the guitar being sent back to Martin in the 1950s and having the top replaced with a spruce top, along with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. These repairs were performed by Martin in the 1950s.

I have included pictures of the inside of the instrument so you can see that everything is correct for that time period. It looks like they refinished the guitar as well, and they did a nice job.

Guitar looks to have had three top cracks that have been sealed up and appeared to be stable as you'll notice from the photos that I've provided.

Everything else on the instrument appears to be original, including all of the back bracing, the interior head block and tail block, and the original serial number stamp on the head block.

The guitar plays and sounds nicely. It does have lots of little nicks, chips, dings, dents, and superficial blemishes throughout, as you will notice from the photos I provided.

The guitar comes with an aftermarket case. Please feel free to ask any other questions you might have.
