1934 Gibson L-00
Here we have an unbelievable 1934 Gibson L-00. As you notice, the guitar is in great condition. The guitar recently had A neck reset along with a complete re fret and a new bone saddle, was able to save the original Ebony nut all interior bracing is original along with bridge plate. Guitar looks like it has cracks in the top, but is just depreciation of wood grain. tuners are original along along with original bridge and Bridge pins and end pin guitar black lights correctly. The guitar has also had a spot of the original Pic gard replaced. repairing these guards can be kind of tricky because you don’t always have the correct material, but I do. I've attached a picture of me doing the restoration on the guard. Being fortunate enough to have done a lot of re-tops and conversions I always save original celluloid tiger striped pic guards for this kind of restoration. works out great because you’re basically getting the same material that was used back in the 1930s and 40s that Gibson used. The guitar plays wonderful geometry is spot on has an unbelievable tone to it. There are lots of little nicks chips, dings dents, and superficial blemishes all over the instrument as you will notice from the photos that I've provided. The guitar comes with its original chipboard case please feel free to ask any other questions you might have.
