Here is a really cool 1920s Vega 00-size 12-fret flat-top guitar.
Overall, the guitar is in fair vintage condition and has benefited from a number of professional repairs and restoration work over the years. There are several repaired cracks, including one on the upper right bout of the top of the side and another along the lower left edge of the side. The back has also had numerous crack repairs during its lifetime. All repairs appear stable, and there are no signs of movement.
At some point, one interior brace was replaced with a properly sized brace that is slightly lighter in color than the originals. The guitar has also received a professional neck reset, a complete refret, and a new bone nut and saddle. A replacement aged ebony bridge has been fitted, along with a new maple bridge plate.
The guitar retains its original tuners, fingerboard, and all original interior bracing except for the one replaced brace.
The Brazilian rosewood back and sides contribute to a rich, warm tone with excellent projection. Despite its cosmetic wear, this guitar is a great-sounding vintage instrument with plenty of character.
Cosmetically, the guitar shows honest age and use, including numerous nicks, chips, dings, dents, scratches, and other superficial blemishes throughout, all consistent with a 100-year-old instrument. Please review the photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
