Up for sale is a stunning 1957 Gibson LG-1. This guitar is in great condition and is a wonderful example of a clean, vintage 50s Gibson acoustic.

Condition & Details:

  • Body: Original with minor wear; lots of small nicks, chips, dings, and superficial blemishes consistent with age. The guitar looks to have had numerous top cracks fixed such as lower center seam and around the sound hole if you will notice from the photos that I've provided. The guitar has had a new appropriately sized maple bridge plate installed due to old bridge plate was failing

  • Pickguard: The upper right pickguard crack has been professionally repaired, as well as the typical lower pickguard crack. Repairs are solid and stable.

  • Tuners: older kluston tuners have been installed (as shown in the photos).

  • Originality: Aside from the tuners, the guitar is all original.

  • Case: Comes with an aftermarket case.

This is a beautiful vintage instrument that plays and sounds as good as it looks saddle is a little bit on the low side, but action is comparable and very much playable. Please feel free to ask any questions or request additional photos.
