Here we have a super cool 1930s Gibson Black L-00. As you will notice, the guitar has lots of honest playwear. The guitar has had numerous restorations done to it over the years, many of which have recently been corrected and made solid.
The repairs that were recently addressed include numerous top cracks that have been resealed and cleated, along with a new, appropriately sized maple bridge plate. The guitar has also had numerous back cracks that have been resealed and repaired, along with all four original braces being reglued.
The guitar has recently received a neck reset, correcting the geometry of the instrument, along with a new replacement Brazilian rosewood bridge with a bone saddle. The guitar has also been refretted and received a new bone nut.
There are areas of overspray on the guitar covering portions of the original finish, although the original finish is still visible. The guitar also has replacement tuners.
As you can see from the photos, the guitar has lots and lots of nicks, chips, dings, dents, and superficial blemishes throughout. Honestly, this guitar is one of the most vibey instruments I've had in a while. It has had lots of repairs, but it plays great and sounds wonderful.
