Here we have a really cool 1942 Martin 00-17. The guitar is 100% original, but has had some repairs done to it such as a neck reset re-correcting the geometry of the instrument along with a complete re fret with new bone nut and saddle. The guitar also has had some extensive side crack repair and lower boat repair. The guitar had a pick up installed in it at some point that is the reason for the lower boat repair and the side crack repair that was done was done because it was in pieces when I received the instrument I will provide photos of before and after, so you can get the idea of what's going on with the instrument. Other than that all interior bracing is original along with original bridge plate. The guitar looked to have had some sort of other tuner on the left hi e tuner at some point. The guitar Play and sounds unbelievable definitely has that 1940s Martin Golden tone to it. The guitar does have lots of little nicks chips, dings dents, and superficial blemishes all over as you Will notice from the photos that I provided. The Guitar comes with a period chip board case.
