1940s Gibson banner J 45
Here we have a super cool 1940s Gibson banner J 45. As you'll notice the guitar is in good condition things that have been done to this instrument guitar has recently been restored guitar has been completely refinished with nitro cellulose lacquer that has been aged accordingly, and tortoise lacquer incelluloid pick guard this instrument guitar has also had a neck reset re-correcting the geometry and play ability of this instrument guitar has also had a complete re fret along with a new bone nut and small maple bridge plate. Guitar still does obtain its original rosewood bridge along with bone saddle that has been saved. The guitar has non-original 60s kluson tuners and Farrell heads as you will notice from the photos that I have provided. All interior bracing is original number 1,2,3 back braces have been re-glued at eyelids. Guitar has old crack repairs to the back that appeared to be solid before refinishing so we're left alone. This guitar sounds unbelievable. I'm not just saying that to sell it. It's definitely something special. The guitar does have lots of little nicks chips, dings dents, and superficial blemishes all over it as you'll notice from the photos that I provided.
