1930 Martin 2-17
Here we have a super cool 1930 Martin 2-17. As you notice the guitar is in good condition the guitar has recently had a neck reset along with a replacement Brazilian Rosewood bridge made for it. Geometry is spot on guitar plays and sounds fantastic original bar frets have recently been leveled re-crowned and dressed accordingly. The guitar looks to have had a pick up installed in it at some point as you will notice from the holes and nearby the sound hole of the guitar. The guitar has recently had old repairs reversed, fixed such as a volume and input jack in the lower bout that have recently been refilled with Honduran Mahogany and cleated underneath to make patch stable guitar has also had two lower right side cracks that have recently been mended back together due to a improper repair prior to me receiving the instrument. Guitar looks to have had side cracks fixed at some point in its life that have recently been made stable. entire body has been stripped and refinished with nitro cellulose lacquer that has been aged to match the neck accordingly. All interior bracing is original along with original bridge plate guitar is definitely an awesome playing and sounding instrument. The guitar comes with a period correct chipboard case there are lots of nicks chips, dings dents, and superficial blemishes all over the instrument as you notice from the photos that I provided please feel free to ask any other questions you might
