Here we have a super cool 1950 Gibson LG-1 in great overall condition. The guitar recently had a professional neck reset, correcting the geometry of the instrument, and the action is now spot-on and very comfortable to play.
The guitar has also had a maple cap professionally installed underneath the original bridge plate due to the bridge pin holes becoming worn over the years. The back of the neck appears to have had additional lacquer crudely brushed on at some point, most likely to preserve an area that showed typical play wear.
There are no breaks or major chips anywhere on the guitar. It remains 100% original aside from a set of period-correct replacement tuners. Included is the original chipboard case, along with a very cool piece of case candy shown in the photos.
As expected for a guitar of this age, there are various small nicks, dings, dents, scratches, and other superficial cosmetic blemishes throughout, all of which can be seen in the photos provided.
