Here we have a super cool 1953 Martin 00-18 as you notice, the guitar has had lots and lots of honest play were over the years. The guitar has recently had some extensive restorations done to it such as a lower left side, crack, and hole that has been mended back together and executed correctly. I used honduran mahogany to patch the lower left side of this instrument as well as the inner patch that is made of Honduran mahogany as well along with appropriately sized tailored triangle, kerf that I made for this restoration lower left side has been re-shot with nitro cellulose lacquer that has been aged to match the rest of the instrument and blending this current side color into the rest of the guitar. I have included photos of all of the work in various steps that I did to this instrument in my listing. The guitar has also had a neck, reset re call correcting geometry, as well as a complete. re fret with new bone nut and saddle. Guitar looks to have had a upper crack fixed on it some years ago that looks to have held accordingly along with a lower top crack that has recently been resealed along with a back crack as well that has been sealed. This guitar plays and sounds unbelievable probably one of the nicest sounding martins I've owned in a long time. I really don't like to talk up guitars, but this thing sounds in place astoundingly. comes with a aftermarket hardshell case with all the vintage stickers you would want to have for a vintage guitar like this makes them mate together wonderfully. The guitar still does obtain its original bridge plate, and all interior bracing. Guitar does have lots of nicks chips, dings dents, and superficial blemishes all over it as you notice from the photos that I have provided. please feel free to ask any other questions you might have
