1970 Martin D-18 – Excellent Player, Recently Reset Neck
Here we have a stunning 1970 Martin D-18 in great overall condition. The guitar recently received a neck reset to restore the proper geometry, and it now plays beautifully. The sound is absolutely unbelievable easily one of the nicest-sounding D-18s I’ve had in quite some time.
The guitar is 100% original and has had a few repairs over the years, including a typical pickguard crack that has been properly cleated with new black Pick Gard , along with an older, dime-sized crack in the treble-side lower bout. As you’ll see in the photos, this crack appears stable and solid.
Cosmetically, the guitar shows the expected signs of age, with various small nicks, chips, dings, and dents throughout the instrument. Please refer to the photos for a closer look at its overall condition.
Other than these noted repairs and cosmetic imperfections, this is a truly special vintage Martin D-18 with an incredible sound and feel.
The guitar comes with an aftermarket case.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
